On Fathers Day

We interrupt the Alaskapade to bring you an unrelated message...

Seriously, I can’t imagine a nicer way to spend Fathers Day than out on the open road with the sun over my head, the wind in my face, and Hester between my legs.  If my boys were out here with me, this would be even more special.  I would like to think that someday the three of us could take a trip like this together.  In the meantime, I’m happy being out here alone - with a few thousand people peeking in to see where I am.

If you are a father, happy Fathers Day.  If you have a dad, reach out to him.  If you have a father but have no relationship with him, maybe today could be the day to try to mend that fence. Trust me, too late gets here too fast.
